Nigerian Athlete, Divine Oduduru Emerges 2nd African’s Fastest Runner.

Divine Oduduru, a Nigerian athlete, has won his first NCAA 100m title reaching 9.86 seconds to emerge as the 2nd African runner to acquire the title.

He emerged the 2nd Nigerian, after Olopade Adenike in the year 1992, and 3rd African after Frankie Fredrick of Namibia in 1992 who successfully finished on Friday, a sprint double at NCAA Division 1 Championship.

However, Fasuba still maintains the his position as African’s fastest runner of all time, while Divine Oduduru is behind him with just a 100th seconds.

He had a time of a 100th of a second behind Olusoji Fasuba’s 9.85 seconds, which he set on African’s record, 2006 in Doha.
